Courtney

Hello all and welcome to our blog! I am so excited to share everything with you and I hope that you won't be afraid to ask any questions.

My name is Courtney Berrows and in less than two weeks I will be living in Birmingham, Alabama. My family lives in Alabama so it's like going home for me. I am married to the most wonderful man name Randal and we have been civilly married for 5 years as of New Years Eve and Eternally married for 3 BUT we have been "together" for 10 years. We were sealed in the Atlanta Temple when I was seven months pregnant with my oldest child. I have two wonderful boys, one is 3 and the other is just 10 months old. They are my life and everything I do is for them. My husband has blessed me with a life that I never imagined I would have and every day I thank God for it.
My oldest is Gabe and he is the definition of boy. He is our future football player and as tough as nails. He loves to play with legos  and really keeps us on our toes. He has so much personality that his one person can't contain it! My youngest is 10 months old and was born two days before Meghan's youngest. He was born with cCMV and is my very special baby boy.
My husband works full time to support his wonderful family and it has only been the last 19 months that I have been able to enjoy being a stay at home mom and it has been my dream job. I love getting my hands dirty!
I LOVE to knit and crochet (knit is my thing though). There isn't a piece of yarn or material out there that I can not turn into a cozy blanket or sweater. I am always trying to keep my hands busy whether with my boys or my many ever growing crafts. I dabble a little in the kitchen and from time to time I sew a little piece or two. I am one of those people you can tell anything to because I have been around the block and nothing surprises me.
I am NOT perfect, I have many flaws. I don't want to be the perfect wife or mom but I do want to do what is right for my kids the way I see fit. If it isn't your way that is alright but if you are looking for a different way of doing things I can help out. I have learned that no matter what the love we have for one another is the most important and sometimes having someone who understands you is what you need. WE all have sweat pants days.....let's just live them together!!!!
